Trinidad is known as one of Bohol’s agricultural centers, blessed with fertile lands, rolling hills, and hardworking people whose livelihood has long been anchored on farming and agricultural production. Before becoming an independent municipality, Trinidad was formerly a barrio of Talibon and Ubay. Through the efforts and aspirations of its people, it was established as a separate municipality signed by President Manuel Roxas. Since then, Trinidad has continued to grow while preserving its unique cultural identity and traditions.
