The Karomata Festival is a heartfelt tribute to the farmers of Trinidad, celebrating their hard work and dedication in providing for their families and the community, in honor of St. Isidore the Farmer. Last year marked the beginning of a new era in raising cultural awareness among Trinidadnons. We instilled the values of culture and tradition in our focal participants, the educators and students of Trinidad Municipal College. By embedding the festival within the educational system, we aim to foster cultural unity within the largest educational institution of the Municipality of Trinidad.

As the Karomata Festival extends its reach to the 20 Barangays by cluster, we are committed to immersing our people in the vibrant and diverse colors of our culture through the theme: “Woven by Culture, Strengthened by Faith.” Envisioning the Karomata as the mode of transportation for commerce and trade, each beat and step of the dance ritual conveys our prayers and faith for abundance and grace for our beloved town, Trinidad.

The continued celebration of the town fiesta and the Karomata Festival has been a resounding success, thanks to the support of everyone involved and the invaluable assistance of Councilor Joan Cajes Imboy and Karomata Festival Committee Chairma Dr. Quirino T. Nugal, Jr. The event culminated in enthusiastic applause and recognition for the winners from various clusters. Here are the results:
