In a significant event underscoring the Provincial Turnover and Agricultural Machinery Distribution initiative associated with the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Mechanizing Program, the Municipality of Trinidad played host to a turnover ceremony at People’s Park Covered Court in Guinobatan, Trinidad, Bohol, witnessed the commencement of proceedings at 9:00 AM. The beneficiaries of this initiative were members of the Farmers Association hailing from the province of Bohol.

MAYOR ATTY. ROBERTO C. CAJES, PH.D., extended a cordial welcome to all attendees and underscored the achievements of the Trinidad Municipal College in his opening address. Following the mayor’s remarks, ATTY. ABEL DAMALERIO conveyed an inspirational message on behalf of Hon. Edgardo M. Chatto, the 1st District Representative, with subsequent messages delivered by MR. EDGAR DEL ROSARIO on behalf of Hon. Ma. Vanessa C. Aumentado – 2nd District Representative, and MR. BAYANI TUTOR on behalf of HON. KRISTINE ALEXIE BESAS-TUTOR. The representatives expressed gratitude for the agricultural machinery, recognizing its substantial contribution to the farming communities across the towns.

The event proceeded with Keynote Messages, featuring DIR. CIRILO N. NAMOC – RTD for Operations on behalf of HON. ANGEL C. ENRIQUEZ, CESO III, MS. NUNILA PINAT – Chief Executive Assistant for Agriculture representing HON. ENRIQUEZ ARISTOTLE C. AUMENTADO, DEP. JOSEL V. DATOR – Director III, PhilMech, in place of MR. DIONISIO G. ALVINDIA, Ph.D – Director IV, PhilMech. The culminating Keynote Message was delivered via a video presentation from SENATOR CYNTHIA A. VILLAR with MR. ROMEL RAGUINDIN.

Subsequently, a turnover and awarding ceremony was conducted, honoring the beneficiaries with certificates. Mr. RAMIL B. JUMAMOY, President of Causwagan Norte Palayamanan Farmer-Partners Association, expressed his gratitude in a message, emphasizing the transformative impact of the government’s support in facilitating more efficient and comfortable farming practices. The program concluded with a message of appreciation from MR. LIZA M. QUIROG, the Provincial Agriculturist of Bohol.
